PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Responsible for a diverse range of system maintenance, data analytics and reporting for the existing Integrated Care Management division business, as well as business development research and analysis projects to support growth of existing business. Provide timely reporting and insights that enable appropriate response to internal and external customer requirements, and support operational and quality metrics gathering and reporting.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Designs, creates and customizes new key reports and analytical tools in appropriate applications for use within the group as well as presentation to external customers. Provides strategic leadership of short- and long-term goals through the use of thoughtful techniques in the communication of the companys mission and core values as a means to implement positive change and/or create organizational structure within the assigned business unit(s). Conducts regular analyses measuring against expected goals and targets. Analyzes clinical and financial data to present trends and quality improvement areas to leadership team. Develops presentations and/or reports on an ad hoc basis containing historic and projected financial and clinical data used to make informed decisions on future opportunities and risks. Provides on-going system QA testing and feedback on any necessary requirements, enhancements and fixes that need to be implemented with appropriate databases and systems. Develops analytical models regarding Integrated Care, Cost of Care, etc and takes necessary steps to verify the validity and accuracy of the data for the analyses. Collaborates with senior management within clinical programs to provide financial and clinical outcome perspective regarding outcomes of Integrated Care Management programs to evaluate expectation of improving clinical outcomes while reducing costs. Develops a performance measurement system to collect data and provide regular feedback regarding the effectiveness and efficacy of the Integrated Care Management program. Provide periodic analyses and reporting against benchmark and targeted metrics within contractual agreements with customers. Lead operational efforts through subordinates to complete the administration of business processes and services to ensure the operations effective achievement of goals within the assigned business unit(s). Ensure that budgets and schedules are within company requirements with significant organizational responsibility for the overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, expense priority management, and recommendation and implementation changes of current methods. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Has significant program or project responsibility generally within the function. Develops, modifies and executes company policies that affect immediate operations, with potential company-wide effect. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Interacts frequently with internal departments and external customers/vendors; particularly in problem resolution. Responsible for hiring, coaching and counseling employees, including performance reviews, disciplinary action and terminations. Provide technical guidance. Assist with various projects as assigned. Bachelors Degree with specialization in public heath, statistics or data analysis required; Advanced Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: 6+ years related experience. 3+ years experience as a Manager; or 3+ years experience in a senior managerial role. Demonstrated experience managing one or more departments. Strong management skills with the ability to lead cohesive and productive teams. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management through diplomacy and tact. Information Systems and Research Certification preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Report writing experience is preferred. Expert level of database programs preferred. Dialysis experience preferred. Ability to work independently and be detail oriented. Proficient with PCs and Microsoft Office applications.
