The Vice President of Clinical Program Development leads OSF Saint Anthony Medical Centers (SAMC) clinical programs strategic planning and development. The Vice President of Clinical Program Development is responsible for conducting a comprehensive assessment of existing clinical services/programs and developing plans to enhance key clinical service programs. The VP will also identify new business development opportunities, builds and leads the development of the new program, and advises on long term growth and positioning strategies. This leadership role works directly with the CMO and CNO to develop short and long-term clinical programs growth and development strategy. This role would collaborate and work closely with the MSS needs in programmatic expansion.. The successful candidate will be highly adept at advancing a vision and roadmap for the future of SAMC's clinical programs/service. Must be able to clearly articulate the value of various functional activities and collaborate with a cross-functional leadership team to build consensus and engagement while enabling an actionable plan. Ability to develop internal consulting relationships to support strong planning and execution of strategic clinical priorities and projects across the entity.. This position reports directly to our President. The Vice President provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that clinical services and operational systems are in place to effectively support the clinical service provided.. The VP also has direct supervisory responsibility for several clinical operating units - Imaging, Laboratory, Cardiovascular/Neuro Interventional Services, and Dietary. The following Hospital Outpatient Departments (HODs) - Lifeline Ambulance, Ortho Clinic, Neuro Clinic, Burn Clinic, GI, etc.). Several ministry matrix reporting relationships including Rehab Services. This position requires total comprehension of the dynamics of interdisciplinary relationships, problem-solving and financial management techniques. Ability to oversee clinical and non-clinical areas.. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:. Master's degree (required) in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or other clinical related area. Current clinical license in the State of Illinois. Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive/leadership experience. Knowledge of state, federal and practice act legislation/law and accreditation standards. Ability to provide strategic leadership and vision across a developing landscape.. Demonstrated ability to engage and work effectively with partners to gain alignment and achieve key deliverables.. Proven wing-to-wing project management experience with the ability to build and lead strong, diverse teams and deliver results.. Excellent relationship management, communication, and presentation skills across all levels of an organization.. Cross-functional experience with a track record of leading in a matrix environment and influencing key decision makers.. Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and financial model. Interdisciplinary management and understanding essential.
